If you're new to having plants, consider starting with a sansevieria. This tropical-looking plant is highly adaptable and can thrive in a variety of lighting conditions, whether high or low light levels.
Lighting: Sansevieria thrives in bright light! It will also grow well in shadier areas (although a little slower) as long as it is not left in complete darkness
Water: Water your leopardskin plant moderately, about once a week in the summer (when the soil is dry to the touch) and reduce the frequency to once or twice a month in the winter.
Heat: Although the leopardskin plant is hardy, it likes to be warm. It can tolerate temperatures as low as 5°C if the soil is dry, but optimal growth occurs between 15 and 27°C.
